About This Days Between Dates Calculator

Use this calculator to measure the exact elapsed time between two dates. It is designed for quick date planning, project schedules, travel planning, invoice aging, personal milestones and any situation where a simple calendar difference is easier than manual counting.

How to Use It

  1. Choose the start date.
  2. Choose the end date.
  3. Use the quick buttons if you want common ranges such as today, month start, +7 days or +30 days.
  4. Select Calculate to see calendar days, business days, weekend days, weeks and hours.

Calendar Days vs Business Days

Calendar days include every day in the date range, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Business days normally count working weekdays only. A deadline written as 30 calendar days can be very different from one written as 30 business days, especially when weekends and public holidays fall inside the range.

Common Uses

Important Counting Note

The main day count is an elapsed difference between dates. If your use case requires inclusive counting, where both the start date and end date are counted as full days, add one day to the displayed calendar-day total. For legal, tax, court, visa or contractual deadlines, always confirm the required counting method with the official source.
